Part 48

Shaikha already had her answer and it was time to tell Mohammed  She knew it was wrong to make him wait for a long time like what she did but she needed to think.

She called him and told him that she wanted to see him for so long she hasn't seen him she missed him. She told him that she had her answer.

Mohammed on the other hand was excited yet nervous what if her answer was a no? The only thing he could do is wait till the day that they would meet.

Fatima went back to find the kids watching tv and 9ager on his phone while there was a smile on his face

Fatima: so who you talking to?

Fatima: aha erbee3k (she just kept quite and watched baby hind, 9alaa7, 3mr and 7amad)

9ager: what is that supposed to mean?

9ager: la wallah, mafi shay, ha choffi (he showed he his phone just to prove his point)

Fatima: I believe you, I'm just kidding with you, you look cute when your angry

9ager: Fatimaaaa (in a very long complaining tone)

9ager: (he looked at her then spoke) there is this girl when I dropped off hind at the nursery

That is when bader came in with his 39ama a bit crocked and a stressed face.

9ager got up following him 7amad, bader carried 3mr and then came back for 9alaa7. And fatima took care of baby hind. After the kids went to bed the 
couple went into their bedroom.

He took off his kandoora and 39ama and stripped to his boxers, then sat on the bed. He had one hand on his neck trying to massage it.

Fatima: my baby is stressed

Bader: very

She climbed on the bed and went on her knees behind him and placed her hands around his neck and started to massage it. Then she started to bite on his ear. She knew exactly how to get him into the mood.

The nurse approached them interrupting shaikha

Nurse: your husband's blood test ma'am

A smile crept to shaikha's face little did she know what the nurse said did to 7sain.

Nurse: please proceed to the doctor's office

She said interrupting their moment. They did as they were told and headed to the doctor's office. But this time they remained quite like nothing happened.

In 7sain's apartment

Shaihka: remember to take the antibiotics

7sain: so is it a yes?

Shaikha: yes to what?

7sain: mohammed told me, he deserves to be happy and so do you, don't let him wait any longer

What 7sain said was the truth. Shaikha knew that she had to answer him back and she had her answer in mind.

The kids decided to spent the whole day in their parents’ house. Bader was already at work so Fatima decided to drive them there.

Fatima: laish mabakoom ok? (ignoring the question)

Fatima: im not mad!

9ager: enzain magelna shay (he laughed)

9ager knew that they had a silly fight last night so he decided to take his siblings to their parents’ house and let them resolve whatever was going on. 
It was about time they had a silly fight. He knew that they were going to get through it.

Fatima dropped them off then had nowhere to go. Shaikha was working so she couldn't hang out and have a ladies day. She decided to have a spa at home and spoil herself a little. She went into the tub and dipped her body into the warm water. It has been while since she has done that. Taking care of the kids was hard enough so couldn't find time to take care of herself. But she doesn't regret any of the decision she made. If she can to do it again she would. She just had a stressful day and her emotions blew up in many proportions.

She was finally done so she got up to comb her hair and take care of herself. After that she set the table and was ready to have her lunch. While she was pouring herself some water bader came in the front door.

Bader: wain elyahaal?

Fatima: fi bait 3ami beyergdoon ehnaak 7ag km mn yoom

Bader: aiwa, etghadaitii?

There was still some tension in the air since their fight that happened last night.

Their conversation was short and simple. Directly to the point.

Fatima set the table and took a seat waiting for bader. They started eating without making any conversation. They both wanted to say something but didn't know how. So they remained quite. Fatima excused herself and walked to the bedroom following behind her bader while whipping his wet hand.

Bader: I'm sorry

Fatima: I know I over reacted but I was a but tired and stressed the kids where making a lot of noises, and I miss you… (she finally admitted)

Bader: 7abeebti I was tired too, I know I didn’t come home for some time now but I'm very busy after awhile it will my turn to have a vacation

Fatima: I’m sorry...

She went next to him and kissed his lips. She just missed him. It made her go crazy. The kids were finally not around so it was all empty just them 2. That simple kiss turned into a passionate one. She longed for him, she just wanted him. It's been awhile since they were passionate to one anther.

He tore her dress and lifted her up and threw her on the bed. He sure didn't loose his strength.

Days passed by and everyone got busier, except for the kids. It was summer after all, so low in staff and the hot weather was not helping the situation.

Fatima was cooking dinner in the kitchen while the kids where being noisy as ever.

He didn’t respond to her

Fatima: set the table, your brothers are hungry

That moment 9ager entered the house and saw it in exploding and tension state.

Fatima just gave this stare that meant nothing else that to shut up before something really happens.

They sat on the table eating dinner and bader’s chair was empty. He was working late nights for awhile. Fatima on the other hand was having a bad day. Her emotions were all over the place. Bader came in while the kids where getting ready for bed and Fatima was washing the dishes.

She remained washing the dishes and bader felt the tension.

Fatima: we already ate, we had pasta

Fatima: where were you?

Fatima: you said you are going to come early today, but you missed lunch and 
dinner, I waited for you

Bader: enzain in here now, your over reacting

Fatima: im not over reacting, you haven’t been home for some time now

Bader: your just being silly, I have to work extra since most of the senior engineers are on a vacation

Fatima: fine

She remained washing the dishes then prepared for bader his dinner then she went off to bed without waiting for him. Not a goodnight kiss or any of that sort. She didn't doubt his whereabouts its just that she missed him. She was frustrated with all the work.

The next morning...

The pills really helped with sleeping, after taking them he managed to rest and doze off without noticing. Shaikha on the other hand was still in his house with her head laying beside his legs on the sofa. 

He noticed her eyebrows creased when ever she was sleeping but not comfortable with it. He knew that she would end up staying the night right beside him. As much as he wanted her to he hated it that she did so.

Shaikha: oh your already up (in a sleepy voice)

7sain: yeah, your head was too big, it bothered me

Shaikha: shut up, now let us wash up then ill take you to the hospital

It broke her heart seeing him all sick and helpless. Ever since he got an assistant they became further apart. She wondered if it was a good or bad thing.

At the hospital

Shaikha: I told you we should have been here earlier

7sain: it's just a blood test

Shaikha: well if you came earlier you wouldn't be this sick

The nurse approached them interrupting shaikha

They started to settle in with fatima's sister hind and bader's brothers. 9ager who was 18 years old and first year in university and then 7amad who was 12 years old a pre-teen trouble maker and the twins omar and 9alaa7 who are 7 years old. The boys were excited especially 9ager and 7amad because they were getting their own separate rooms. Fatima was fixing baby hind’s things when 9ager came in with hind in his arms.

Fatima: she likes you

9ager: everyone likes me

Fatima :hanooda mno hatha eli shalench?

Hind: saser

9ager: 9a7 o ma3ndch saser ‘3airy (he gave her a kiss)

Fatima just giggled, she was glad to see more people caring for hind the way 
she did. She knew that this was going to be a good thing.

She went to bader and saw him with the twins trying to fix their things but being a fail at that.

Fatima: honey that is not how you fold it

Bader: where will I be without you?

Disrupting their attempts at flirting.

Bader just watched her in amusement; he loved her and was more than glad to see her commit to the whole thing.

Shaikha was at the office thinking of what her parents told her. She had 2 weeks to think about it and get back at them. All that time she hasn't talked to Mohammed. They actually met and talked about it. He told her that he was serious about it and that he wanted her to think about it and at the mean time they would spend time apart till she made up her mind.

She heard a knock on the door and disrupted her train of thoughts.

Shaikha: yes?

Moza: 7sain wants you to review these papers

Shaikha: sure he usually asks me himself, is he in his office?

Moza: no, he didn't show up today

She wondered why he didn't come to work, but yet it was usual for him to do that. It won't be the first time. There weren't any meetings so he wasn't really needed.

Work hours were done but like always Shaikha stayed longer to finish the load of work at her desk. She actually enjoyed because it kept her from thinking of her problems and what not.

3 hours later, after she was done she checked the clock and it read 6:00 PM. It was actually early for her to go home that time from work. She locked the door behind and into the car. 7sain was on her mind the whole time so she decided to give him a call. The phone kept on ringing but there was no answer on the other line.

That was when she got worried. She started driving and didn't notice that she was in front of 7sain's house. After all she got the keys and was ready to go in and check.

She called but still no answer so she just got the key in and in she went.

She found 7sain watching TV. But he had a thick jacket on with socks and a blanket with him laying on the sofa.

Shaikha: why didn't you go to the hospital?

She could see how sick he was from all the shivering.

7sain: I'm fine

Shaikha: are you kidding me?

She walked to the kitchen and got out a thermometer with a glass of water and a Panadol pill.

Shaihka: take this

She gave him the pill followed by the water. The she started to take his temperature when she gasped.

Shaikha: OMG, your hot

7sain: I know (he laughed)

He had that arrogant look on his face.

Shaikha: even when your sick your still an arrogant bastard

7sain: your suppose to be nice to sick people

Shaikha: not when they are a pain in my ass

He just laid there letting her taking care of him. He could never ask for better care.

Shaikha: I'm taking you to the hospital in the morning

He didn't reply suggesting that he agrees with her. It wasn't his choice anyways and he knew that.

Sitting with her family chatting about this and that she couldn't help but notice the smile on her mother's face. She knew what that smile meant. She was a little too familiar with it. She could feel it. But this time, she was thinking of saying yes.

Lunch was over as usual Shaikha got up to clean up with her mother, she saw it coming

Shaikha: 'I knew it'

Mother: gabl 3an etgooleen la2 seeri 3nd ebooch 5ali eyramsch

Shaikha's mother already gave up on trying to convince shaikha to get married. She just wanted to see her daughter happy and some grand babies.

Shaikha: inshallah

The rest of the day was normal untill Shaikha's sister alya decided to leave with her husband leaving shaikha with her dad all alone in the meylas.

Father: umch galatlch?

Shaikha: na3am uboi

Father: sho rayech?

Shaikha: wallah madrii, mno hatha elrayal a9lan?

Father: ana se'alt 3an'h mn eli galawli rayal zain, esm'h Mohammed Al- yesht'3el fi sharikat X ka accountant

It wasn't a suprise to shaikha, she saw all this coming and the day she accepted to go on a date with him and she was actually thinking of saying yes. What surprised her is that he didn't talk to her about it and asked her family first which she found manly.

Later that day:

Fatima was setting the table for her and bader. She lit the candles and had on a dress but a lingerie underneath knowing how the night will end

Fatima: of course

They got seated and has their small talk. Then it was her perfect time to put in her idea.

Bader: mhm (he was used to her talking about houses since she was a designer probably it was on of her ideas for a design)

Then she paused looking at him waiting for a response.

Bader: ha? (she took him by suprise) 5 ghraf 7agna n7n elethnain bs?

It seemed like the best solution and he wanted to say yes. He had the money for a house but it was too complicate. To make his 4 boys live with them and her own sister. He knew it was a big responsibility and he didn't want to make her go through all that.

Fatima: la mb wayid wala shay, I would love them here than anywhere else and so for the money I decided to sell the beach house since I won’t be needing it anymore

Fatima: ohh a surprise?

Bader: they made me a senior engineer

Fatima: OMG, really?

She was happy for him knowing that that is what he wanted for a very long time. And she was glad everything was going well. It might not be what she planned for herself but it is definitely something she was glad to have and would do anything for it to keep on going well.

Getting ready for her date, one of many which she loved very much. But this time it was a little different. Mohammed has finally said that he loved her for those 3 months time that they were dating in. He didn't rush her into replying or saying it back, he just waited. He loved her too much to push her into anything.

Mohammed: ready?

Shaikha: just a second

She was applying mascara and he stood behind her watching her.

Shaikha: dont stare at me, I get distracted

Mohammed: your perfect the way you are, no need for all that (he gestured with his hands)

Shaikha: its just makeup, I have to make the other guys jealous

Mohammed: you mean make the other girls jealous being with me

Shaikha just laughed, what else would she do when he was this charming

Mohammed: I lov...

Shaikha: you can say it, I wont stop you, I know I don't say it back its just-

Mohammed: I'm sorry, I didn't want to push it

Shaikha's point of view:

What is the matter with me? Many girls dream of having a man like mohammed, he is perfect in every way. And he loves me, he loves me. Why can't I say it. I love having him around I love it when he takes me out and love it when he takes care of me.

If it was a month earlier 7sain would be in some girl's apartment taken full advantage of her drunken self but not this time. He was with some friends, yes in a club but he was the only one with no alcohol in his system. He just needed to take things out of his mind. 

It was a good night so why not take it for granted. As he was walking to bar to get some more cola and alcohol for the others he bumped into a very familiar face

Tracy: no alcohol I see

7sain: got tried of that none sense

Tracy: but still hang out in a bar?

7sain: a guy's gotta hangout

Tracy: you can take me home and hangout

7sain: that ship has sailed

Tracy: she really got to you

With that she walked away. Anything of what she said never got to 7sain, he knew that what she said was always the truth.

Fatima was gathering her stuff looking for her grey skirt which she was sure that she left it at bader’s apartment but might left it at her house because of all the moving in and out.

Bader: sho yalsa edawreen?

He came out of the shower with a towel rummaging through the laundry basket looking for his shirt

Fatima: my skirt, nsait wain 7a6ait’h

Bader: gtlch etyeebeen kilaa a3raa’9ch ehnii

Fatima: yeah bs ba3dian sho 3n hind? ma7b yoom etkoon 3nd umai, martaa7 o mafi mkaan 7agna n7n el ethnain

Bader: adrii 7abeebti I will find a solution

Not that the money is tight, it actually got better recently since 9ager is going to university and of course on a scholarship. It is just that looking for a house takes time and much effort. He was too busy to do that. And Fatima wasn't really looking with him because they still weren't living in one roof. It was too complicated for the both of them. He feared that she didn't want to commit so he didn't pressure her and she didn't want to insist knowing the money situation, so they made do for now.

Fatima: don’t rush it, 3adi and I have a solution but your too stubborn to listen to me

Bader: baby, I cant live with you in YOUR house, you know that, ana elrayaal I'm suppose to provide the house not you, and besides its too far from my family

Fatima didn't pressure him more knowing that his pride won’t allow it. ‘Men’ is all she thought about.

Fatima: ok honey we will find a solution, ill be going now (she kissed him then left)

She wanted to live in the same house instead of moving here and there. It just that they moved fast without thinking of the living situation or anything else. 

While driving she couldn't help but spot a house that was on sale. Somehow her car stopped and she parked to check it out. The house was white with an olive color rooftop. It was 2 floors containing 5 bedrooms a kitchen and a living room. To her it seemed like the perfect house. Small from the outside but spacious from the inside. That is when it hit her. She got out a card out for the owner and took one herself.

Part 42

The couple got into the hotel room. Fatima took off her veil and shoes while taking out her cloths for the night and a small bag. Her hair got released from the clip which made it flow on her back and brought the shape of her face.

Bader on the other hand took off his ghitra and kandoora and went into the bathroom to brush his teeth and get ready for bed. Fatima got a head start removing the makeup with wipes so she could just wash her face and brush her teeth then change, not to keep bader waiting. 

He came out with a pajama bottom and nothing else. He saw Fatima standing with her dress all he thought about was how pretty she looked. He walked to her and back hugged her. While taking in her smell. He started to kiss the back of her neck making her moan slightly.

Fatima: honey I have to remove my makeup

Bader: lat6awleen, atrayaach

She went in with her heart beating so fast that her breathing was starting to get shallow. She wasn't yet used to the whole making love part. She gets shy all the time. She finally finished washing her face and brushing her teeth and it was time to get changed. With her dress in a hanger she didn't know if she could do it yes or not.

Bader was always to make the first move but she wanted to make the first move this time. So she got dressed and went out. Bader was lying on the bed with his head on the wall of the bed and his legs stretched waiting for her.

She came out wearing a robe and took it off sliding it against her fair skin revealing her body in a purple lacy bra and matching panties. It was lingerie number 3. She walked towards him while she bit her lower lip. She climbed on the bed and right on top of him kissing him. She kissed his neck getting him aroused. That is when he turned her around making him on top. They shared the most intimate moment a husband and wife could ever share as if it was their first time.

In the car ride...

Sitting shot gun looking out the window with her head resting on the head rest she wondered what life had for her. Was she going to be working for the rest of her life? 7sain watched her looking out the window like she always does. It was always the Ferrari when shaikha is involved. He knew that she loved riding this car. That was why no one rides shot gun in this car except for her. Every one knew that except for her.

Shaikha: did you get to evaluate this months records?

7sain: not yet, I have them at home if you want to take a look

Shaikha: isn't it late?

7sain: I don't mind if you don't

Shaikha: sure

7sain's point of view:

I don't know why I said that. I think I unconscionably  planned this. I don't know how to spend time with her other than this. 

They reached their destination and made their way in.

Shaikha: cleaning up I see

There were a few boxes laying around the house filled with stuff that shaikha couldn't see. But she spotted a piece of lingerie laying beside one of the boxes which made her feel uncomfortable. Was it a good idea to stay there. 

Shaikha: I called my sister she is picking me up soon, I can take a look at the papers tomorrow

7sain: you sure?

Shaikha: yes, and I feel a little tired so I'll see you tomorrow, good night

She made her way out and got into her sister's car. What she didn't know was that 7sain was watching her from his window. Like always he got his car keys got in the car and followed her. She went straight home home into her apartment and locked the doors that was when he went back home. 

That was a first. That was when he found the piece of lingerie and understood. He picked it up placed it with the others in the box. The other box contained alcohol. He carried these boxes took them outside and into the garbage. It was all behind him, he hoped it would stay that way.
