Part 54

Lady: I would offer you something to drink but you look like a man that gets straight to the point

She stated unbuttoning her uniform and slid then right off. She sure was damn sexy but all 7sain would of was shaikha. 


She took off her bra and stood right in front of 7sain. She held his hand and put them on her breasts while she moaned slightly. If that was the old 7sain he would be aroused by now. She moved her hand to his belt buckle and tried to loosen it but that is when 7sain stopped her.

He got away from her then walked out the door. He just got starting walking without looking back even ignoring her annoyed comments. He walked out of the building and took a breath of fresh air. He was glad to be out of there. The disgust crawling to his skin he couldn't take it anymore.

Shaikha was still on his mind. He knew that time that he would never go back to his old self ever again. So he got into his car and drove away.

He drove directly to his house to scrub off the filth away. Getting in the shower he only wanted to get it off. That is when he knew he had to let it all out.

After his aimless scrubbing he got changed and called bader

After the second ring bader picked up

Bader: waink?

There was a moment of silence between them

All 7sain did was sigh

He shut the phone still not knowing what to do, after half an hour he received a message from fatima

From fatima:

People change, YOU changed for the better

He smiled at the message. Knowing that bader talked to fatima about all this how else would he explain the message. All he wanted was a relationship like theirs. Something that would last. And he wanted that relationship to be with shaikha. 

With bader's words in his head he finally made his mind up and got off the couch.

He saw her carrying boxes and loading then into her car. That was typical shaikha up at 7:00 AM sharp getting right to work.

7sain: already packing?

Shaikha turned around to see him standing right there looking tired. He obviously had a long night and she knew it. She turned her back to him and completed loading her car.

7sain: so your just going to ignore me?

Shaikha: why are you here? You look like crap

7sain: don’t do that (he got closer to her that her they were face to face) do you know what you do to me? I’m not the type of guy that settles. I can’t stay at one place and stay with one thing. Its against everything I have been doing ever since. Then you come along and screw it all up. 
All I wanted to do is drink and party. But I couldn’t and guess what its all because of you. 
That never happened to me before but now I don’t care anymore, all I need is you

He said with sincerity. 

Shaikha raised her hard ready to slap him when he got hold of her hard and pulled her closer. He leaned in to kiss her and she kissed him back. All she wanted was his lips after calling earlier she never expecting this to ever happen, to have a make out setion on her wedding day with someone other than her fiancé.

7sain: what are you doing here?

SHaikha: I needed to see you


Shaikha: I know it’s late and very unreasonable but I just needed to see you

She said all that while staring at the floor. After she got all that out she looked at 7sain looking right at her with a sharp look. She knew that it was time to confess to everything

Shaikha: If u tell me not to get married tomorrow I wouldn't so is there a reason I shouldn't get married?

7sain: is this a confession? (he told her with a cold tone, trying not show any emotion)

Shaikha: yes it is, is there a reason I should not get married tomorrow? (she said it directly to the point without hesitation)

7sain: shaikha ‘I love you’ you deserve to be happy, and I truly believe that m7md will make you happy, I will only make your life a living hell, I am not a guy that settles

Shaikha: people change

7sain: I'm not people (he tried his best not show a glimpse of emotion, just shutting everything down)

Shaikha was disappointed, she wanted to change him and make him better. 

She wanted him to settle with her and marry her make her happy. She just loved. After the endless arguments they have almost every day. The silly fights and late night annoying phone calls. She couldn't help but get attached to him the way he was attached to her opinions about everything. She has falled in love with him. Fallen way too hard.

Shaikha: well then, this is good bye

Shaikha got closer to him and gave a peck on the lips. She had no idea where all this courage is coming from. The kiss that she longed for but now was just a peck that meant goodbye.

7sain just watched her walking away. He just wanted to forget.

After watching her leave he got dressed then headed to his favorite club. He could never make her happy. He knew that he would never be faithful to her. As much as he wanted to he would eventually hurt her. He doesn't want that. He cant bare watch a tear fall off her eye. This night was a night that would make all of shaikha go away from his mind. He started to get back his bad habits. He ordered a scotch and started at it. No matter how many times he picked it up he failed to drink it. Shaikha would just be on his mind. He sat there for 2 hours staring at the glass with disgust towards himself. But he had to forget her. No matter what it took.

Lady: aren’t you going to drink that?

A flight attendant still in her uniform asked. She came to get her mind away from her stressful job.

7sain: what are you doing here at 4:00 AM? (totally ignoring her question)

Lady: very stressful job, you?

7sain wouldn't answer he just stared at the table with a faceless expression. They had small talk for another 2 hours. She getting sexually excited towards 7sain’s mystery and he disgusted with himself every minute that passes. She would do all the talking and he would answer her with short answers and no interest.

Lady: I can make you forget whatever you want to forget

She took his hand leading it to her thigh while watching 7sain's reaction. He just looked at her with no interest no reaction.  

That was when she got up and led him to the door across the street and right to her apartment.

7sain just followed her with disgust. He was revolted by himself. But he wanted to forget shaikha, and didn't know a better way to do so.

Weeks has passed by since mohammed proposed again and everything was going well but for some or let’s say 2 particular people it was moving way too fast. 

A promise has been made between 2 families and an agreement had been done. It was time to make it official and there was nothing holding them back. Finally only one day left until it was in the records, a sacred bound between husband and wife. 

Tomorrow, a day that shaikha waited for her entire life. She woke up this morning feeling what she suppose to be feeling was happiness and excitement but turned out to be something else. Something she couldn't really understand.

She pushed the thought away and just resumed with her day as if it was nothing.

Meanwhile…

7sain woke up bright and early hoping that this day would never come but unfortunately it did. The reason behind his early day was that he couldn’t sleep at all the night before. He just sat on his bed with his mobile in his hands thinking about calling shaikha all night. Was this normal? Is it possible for a person like 7sain to change? To love? 

He just wanted to make his sorrows go away. He wanted shaikha out of his head. He knew deep down that he would end up hurting her. Confessing his feeling to her was not an option. Was he running away like how he runs away from every problem that he faces? Nothing good can come from this day.

Shaikha made sure that she wasn't going to bump into 7sain other than in the office. She was convinced to stay that way until after her melcha. She avoided all of 7sain's hot spots. It worked but not as she hoped it would.

She was going to go for lunch with fatima since it is her last night as a single woman. 

Fatima: where do you wanna have lunch?

Shaikha: Somewhere different, I want a change of scenery

Fatima: are you alright?

Shaihka: yes, why wouldn't I be?

Fatima: you seem nervous?

Shaikha: what is wrong with me? aren't I suppose to be happy, I'm getting married for god sakes (she finally let it out)

Fatima knew that it was time to tell shaikha before it was too late. 

Fatima: are you sure you want to do this? you know it is never too late to back out

Shaikha: what are you saying? today is my melcha

Fatima: I know I'm not suppose to be saying this but do you love him?

Shaikha: of course, I'm marrying him aren't I

Bader was driving his car going to work while talking to abdulra7mam (remember him, 7sain's cousin who is married to 7sain's sister maha)

Phone call ended...

Bader shut the phone and started to to park his car in his spot. He spotted 7sain's car in his spot which didn't surprise him anymore. He noticed the change in 7sain. But what worried him is that after today 7sain was going to drown himself in work just to not think about her.


7sain was at the office, sipping coffee getting ready for the day. It was exceptionally early even 7sain's assistant wasn't at work yet.

7sain: (laugh) ha kaif esafra?

7sain just wanted bader to enjoy his time with his wife.

That was when bader knew that his close friend is in great pain

They have been having this conversation for a very long time. Bader trying to convince him that everything will be alright while 7sain was not accepting the idea. He didn't want to take the risk and then hurt her.

Hours have passed by and 7sain has been throwing himself into work trying to forget.

7sain: any more papers moza?

Moza: I think you wouldn't be signing anything for the next month sir (she said jokingly), take a break

7sain let out a sigh and took a seat on his chair thinking of what bader has just said to him.

Meanwhile...

It was late at night and Shaikha was done packing her stuff with 7sain in her mind. He was all she thought about lately. Now with fatima's words rewinding in her mind. What if? is all she asked herself. All she had to do was place her things in her car the morning and leave. 


But instead she was having second thoughts.


Finally she decided to get into her car and drive away. Just drive away from everything but her mind took her somewhere very familiar that even one million years she will never forget. 



She knocked on the door and waited...

Part 51

The door bell rang, shaikha went to open it

7sain: hi

Shaikha's smile grew wider. Whenever she saw him she forgets the world but most importantly forgets mohammed.

7sain: I got lunch

Shaikha: I'll set the table, KIDS LUNCH

9ager: ohh, sh7alk 7sain?

7sain: eb5air, int'h sh7alk? mashallah rayaal

The guys were talking when shaikha was getting the table ready.

9ager: shaikah, mohammed gal beyrid la

That question made things tense. Just when 7sain thought he forgot about it, it had to be brought back out again.

Shaikha: 3gb el'3da 7sain beytem wiyakm

7sain knew better than that. She would go to mohammed, he knew that she wouldn't stay with the kids more importantly stay with him.

After eating lunch the kids went back to their playing and fighting while shaikha and 7sain took care of the dishes.

7sain: it's been awhile

Shaikha: since you did your own dishes (she said it with a smile)

7sain: actually yes, and doing it with you

7sain laughed to the memories while shaikha's smile faded away.

The door bell rang

Shaikha: that is mohammed, I will get going, don't forget hind's shot, and if you need anything call me

She opened the door and off she went. She couldn't stand being with him while remembering all that memories.

On a plane...

Fatima noticed bader staring at the window while his mind was somewhere else

Fatima: I thought that I was the one worrying

Bader: sorry babe, it's the first time I left the boys alone

Fatima: I know, its good that 7sain did this for us

Bader: he is changing

The only thing bader wished for is that 7sain changing. He just wished that he changed earlier when mohammed wasn't dating shaikha. This whole thing screwed with his head. He knew how 7sain felt. If someone took fatima away from him he was going to go crazy.

Fatima: it is for the best (she said and held bader's hand)

Fatima on the other hand knew how 7sain felt she saw it in his eyes. She also knew shaikha hesitation. She understood why 7sain was acting the way he was. It is sad to love someone while knowing you can't make them happy.

Bader: you know what else I was thinking of?

Fatima: what?

He came closer to whisper in her ears

Bader: the things I'd do to you when we reach the hotel room

A guys night out...

That was where 7sain laughed, bader did sound like a family man. What he always wanted to be.

Fatima: how can we leave all of them here alone?

Shaikha: its just for 3 weeks

Fatima: even though, they are still young

Shaikha: what will you do if they were your real kids, mother not smother

She ran after them, trying to tame them.

Shaikha: your getting good at this

That was when they both giggeled. Fatima never saw herself married tied down to a guy that she loved with all her heart while raising their siblings like her own kids.

Shaikha: I'll be here eventually everyday

Fatima: well yeah

Shaikha: yeah sho? go have fun, everything will be fine

2 days later...

After a long time of persuasion fatima finally agreed on going on their honeymoon while leaving the kids.

Fatima: and the twins, they don't eat if you don't force them

Shaikha: I said I got it, now will you go

Will all that commotion she finally got in the car and both of them were finally going on their honeymoon. They really needed it. Mohammed was driving them to the airport before leaving to work.

An hour passed since bader and fatima left to the airport leaving shaikha with the kids at home. It was nearly lunch time when shaikha phone buzzed indicating a message

ohh almost forgot, tell 7sain that I said thank you for getting us the tickets and everything and also for volunteering to babysit the kids and helping out

That message left shaikha's heart beat. She knew deep down that he was a nice person. What made it better was that he was coming over to watch the kids every now and then.

Days only got busier and people were stressing out. Somewhere in a coffee shop

Fatima: I love those kids to pieces but they have sucked the spark out of my marriage! We hadn't had a date in awhile and the sex, its always the closet, don’t get me wrong the sex is amazing! But the spark has evaporated

Shaikha: you just had to get that out didn't you?

Fatima: what I'm telling you that my sex life in a dilemma here

Shaikha: and your talking to me about YOUR sex life!

Fatima: whatever who cares if you’re a virgin! I'm in a crisis here

Shaikha: would you keep it down

Fatima: so have you decided?

Knowing that today was the day that mohammed and shaikha where going to meet he sat in his office signing papers throwing himself in work not to think about it.

Moza: your planning to go on your vacation sir?

7sain: those tickets are actually not for me

Later that day shaikha had dinner plans with m7md.

She walked towards his car waiting for her with a bouquet of flowers. How

thoughtful of him is what she thought. Even when she said that she was going to think about his offer. He was sweet no matter what she says or does.

Shaikha: I love you (it was her first time to say it in a long time)

He had a smile on his face knowing what her answer would be after she said those 3 words.

He hesitate to ask her again

He finally got his answer after a week of waiting the torture he went through and all the waiting. He kissed her. The first kiss they shared as an engaged couple. She finally found someone that loves her for her and now she can build a family with him. They seemed like the perfect couple right? Oh well nothing is as it seems.

Shaikha already had her answer and it was time to tell Mohammed  She knew it was wrong to make him wait for a long time like what she did but she needed to think.

She called him and told him that she wanted to see him for so long she hasn't seen him she missed him. She told him that she had her answer.

Mohammed on the other hand was excited yet nervous what if her answer was a no? The only thing he could do is wait till the day that they would meet.

Fatima went back to find the kids watching tv and 9ager on his phone while there was a smile on his face

Fatima: so who you talking to?

Fatima: aha erbee3k (she just kept quite and watched baby hind, 9alaa7, 3mr and 7amad)

9ager: what is that supposed to mean?

couple went into their bedroom.

He took off his kandoora and 39ama and stripped to his boxers, then sat on the bed. He had one hand on his neck trying to massage it.

Fatima: my baby is stressed

She climbed on the bed and went on her knees behind him and placed her hands around his neck and started to massage it. Then she started to bite on his ear. She knew exactly how to get him into the mood.

The nurse approached them interrupting shaikha

A smile crept to shaikha's face little did she know what the nurse said did to 7sain.

Nurse: please proceed to the doctor's office

She said interrupting their moment. They did as they were told and headed to the doctor's office. But this time they remained quite like nothing happened.

In 7sain's apartment

Shaihka: remember to take the antibiotics

7sain: so is it a yes?

Shaikha: yes to what?

7sain: mohammed told me, he deserves to be happy and so do you, don't let him wait any longer

What 7sain said was the truth. Shaikha knew that she had to answer him back and she had her answer in mind.

The kids decided to spent the whole day in their parents’ house. Bader was already at work so Fatima decided to drive them there.

Fatima: laish mabakoom ok? (ignoring the question)

Fatima: im not mad!

9ager: enzain magelna shay (he laughed)

9ager knew that they had a silly fight last night so he decided to take his siblings to their parents’ house and let them resolve whatever was going on. 
It was about time they had a silly fight. He knew that they were going to get through it.

Fatima dropped them off then had nowhere to go. Shaikha was working so she couldn't hang out and have a ladies day. She decided to have a spa at home and spoil herself a little. She went into the tub and dipped her body into the warm water. It has been while since she has done that. Taking care of the kids was hard enough so couldn't find time to take care of herself. But she doesn't regret any of the decision she made. If she can to do it again she would. She just had a stressful day and her emotions blew up in many proportions.

She was finally done so she got up to comb her hair and take care of herself. After that she set the table and was ready to have her lunch. While she was pouring herself some water bader came in the front door.

Bader: wain elyahaal?

There was still some tension in the air since their fight that happened last night.

Fatima set the table and took a seat waiting for bader. They started eating without making any conversation. They both wanted to say something but didn't know how. So they remained quite. Fatima excused herself and walked to the bedroom following behind her bader while whipping his wet hand.

Fatima: I know I over reacted but I was a but tired and stressed the kids where making a lot of noises, and I miss you… (she finally admitted)

She went next to him and kissed his lips. She just missed him. It made her go crazy. The kids were finally not around so it was all empty just them 2. That simple kiss turned into a passionate one. She longed for him, she just wanted him. It's been awhile since they were passionate to one anther.

Days passed by and everyone got busier, except for the kids. It was summer after all, so low in staff and the hot weather was not helping the situation.

That moment 9ager entered the house and saw it in exploding and tension state.

Fatima just gave this stare that meant nothing else that to shut up before something really happens.

They sat on the table eating dinner and bader’s chair was empty. He was working late nights for awhile. Fatima on the other hand was having a bad day. Her emotions were all over the place. Bader came in while the kids where getting ready for bed and Fatima was washing the dishes.

She remained washing the dishes and bader felt the tension.

Fatima: im not over reacting, you haven’t been home for some time now

Bader: your just being silly, I have to work extra since most of the senior engineers are on a vacation

Fatima: fine

She remained washing the dishes then prepared for bader his dinner then she went off to bed without waiting for him. Not a goodnight kiss or any of that sort. She didn't doubt his whereabouts its just that she missed him. She was frustrated with all the work.

The next morning...

The pills really helped with sleeping, after taking them he managed to rest and doze off without noticing. Shaikha on the other hand was still in his house with her head laying beside his legs on the sofa. 

He noticed her eyebrows creased when ever she was sleeping but not comfortable with it. He knew that she would end up staying the night right beside him. As much as he wanted her to he hated it that she did so.

Shaikha: oh your already up (in a sleepy voice)

7sain: yeah, your head was too big, it bothered me

Shaikha: shut up, now let us wash up then ill take you to the hospital

It broke her heart seeing him all sick and helpless. Ever since he got an assistant they became further apart. She wondered if it was a good or bad thing.

At the hospital

Shaikha: I told you we should have been here earlier

7sain: it's just a blood test

Shaikha: well if you came earlier you wouldn't be this sick

The nurse approached them interrupting shaikha

Nurse: your husband's blood test ma'am

A smile crept to shaikha's face little did she know what the nurse said did to 7sain.

Part 45

They started to settle in with fatima's sister hind and bader's brothers. 9ager who was 18 years old and first year in university and then 7amad who was 12 years old a pre-teen trouble maker and the twins omar and 9alaa7 who are 7 years old. The boys were excited especially 9ager and 7amad because they were getting their own separate rooms. Fatima was fixing baby hind’s things when 9ager came in with hind in his arms.

Fatima: she likes you

9ager: everyone likes me

Fatima :hanooda mno hatha eli shalench?

Hind: saser

Fatima just giggled, she was glad to see more people caring for hind the way 
she did. She knew that this was going to be a good thing.

She went to bader and saw him with the twins trying to fix their things but being a fail at that.

Fatima: honey that is not how you fold it

Bader: where will I be without you?

Disrupting their attempts at flirting.

Bader just watched her in amusement; he loved her and was more than glad to see her commit to the whole thing.

Shaikha was at the office thinking of what her parents told her. She had 2 weeks to think about it and get back at them. All that time she hasn't talked to Mohammed. They actually met and talked about it. He told her that he was serious about it and that he wanted her to think about it and at the mean time they would spend time apart till she made up her mind.

She heard a knock on the door and disrupted her train of thoughts.

Shaikha: yes?

Moza: 7sain wants you to review these papers

Shaikha: sure he usually asks me himself, is he in his office?

Moza: no, he didn't show up today

She wondered why he didn't come to work, but yet it was usual for him to do that. It won't be the first time. There weren't any meetings so he wasn't really needed.

Work hours were done but like always Shaikha stayed longer to finish the load of work at her desk. She actually enjoyed because it kept her from thinking of her problems and what not.

3 hours later, after she was done she checked the clock and it read 6:00 PM. It was actually early for her to go home that time from work. She locked the door behind and into the car. 7sain was on her mind the whole time so she decided to give him a call. The phone kept on ringing but there was no answer on the other line.

That was when she got worried. She started driving and didn't notice that she was in front of 7sain's house. After all she got the keys and was ready to go in and check.

She called but still no answer so she just got the key in and in she went.

She found 7sain watching TV. But he had a thick jacket on with socks and a blanket with him laying on the sofa.

Shaikha: why didn't you go to the hospital?

She could see how sick he was from all the shivering.

7sain: I'm fine

Shaikha: are you kidding me?

She walked to the kitchen and got out a thermometer with a glass of water and a Panadol pill.

Shaihka: take this

She gave him the pill followed by the water. The she started to take his temperature when she gasped.

Shaikha: OMG, your hot

7sain: I know (he laughed)

He had that arrogant look on his face.

Shaikha: even when your sick your still an arrogant bastard

7sain: your suppose to be nice to sick people

Shaikha: not when they are a pain in my ass

He just laid there letting her taking care of him. He could never ask for better care.

Shaikha: I'm taking you to the hospital in the morning

He didn't reply suggesting that he agrees with her. It wasn't his choice anyways and he knew that.

Part 44

Sitting with her family chatting about this and that she couldn't help but notice the smile on her mother's face. She knew what that smile meant. She was a little too familiar with it. She could feel it. But this time, she was thinking of saying yes.

Lunch was over as usual Shaikha got up to clean up with her mother, she saw it coming

Shaikha: 'I knew it'

Mother: gabl 3an etgooleen la2 seeri 3nd ebooch 5ali eyramsch

Shaikha's mother already gave up on trying to convince shaikha to get married. She just wanted to see her daughter happy and some grand babies.

Shaikha: inshallah

The rest of the day was normal untill Shaikha's sister alya decided to leave with her husband leaving shaikha with her dad all alone in the meylas.

It wasn't a suprise to shaikha, she saw all this coming and the day she accepted to go on a date with him and she was actually thinking of saying yes. What surprised her is that he didn't talk to her about it and asked her family first which she found manly.

Later that day:

Fatima was setting the table for her and bader. She lit the candles and had on a dress but a lingerie underneath knowing how the night will end

They got seated and has their small talk. Then it was her perfect time to put in her idea.

Bader: mhm (he was used to her talking about houses since she was a designer probably it was on of her ideas for a design)

Then she paused looking at him waiting for a response.

It seemed like the best solution and he wanted to say yes. He had the money for a house but it was too complicate. To make his 4 boys live with them and her own sister. He knew it was a big responsibility and he didn't want to make her go through all that.

Bader: they made me a senior engineer

Fatima: OMG, really?

She was happy for him knowing that that is what he wanted for a very long time. And she was glad everything was going well. It might not be what she planned for herself but it is definitely something she was glad to have and would do anything for it to keep on going well.
