The days went by easy for some people but that was not the case for Meera. Her days were just like before she got married and that was the problem. She would wake up to an empty house and sleep to an empty house. And if she did see Hamad it was for only a few minutes before they both had to rush through the door. If she was home early Hamad would be home late and vise versa. And through all that the conversation she had with Hessa kept rewinding in her head.
She was working late that day and had to run some errands when she arrived late that night. She walked through the door to find Hamad on the couch watching TV. That was a first she thought.
He was sitting comfortably on the couch for the past three hours. What Meera did not know was that Hamad actually has a TV in his bedroom but this time decided to watch TV outside of his bedroom. After getting married getting back to his everyday routine did not work anymore.
All he did was think of her.
It was never enough to just live with her.
Meera: hi
He turned to her and smiled
Hamad: hi, working late these days (he said lowering the volume of the TV)
Meera: what about you, I was here alone most nights
Then she noticed what she just said, she froze. Hamad looked right at her. To not make the situation even more awkward than it already is she went into her room as quickly as she could and closed the door behind her to change.
Thirty minutes later Meera was done freshening up and decided to go out to the living room. She could have stayed in her room and go to sleep but she did not want to. She opened the door and saw Hamad still on the couch watching TV.
Walking over she sat next to him leaving a bit of space.
Hamad heard the door open and knew it was Meera but he did not turn around. He waited to see what she was going to do. To his surprise she walked over to where he was sitting and sat right next to him. With his arms behind his head and his legs on the coffee table, was stretched out relaxing, taking a break from the over bearing load of work.
Meera: relaxed much?
Hamad: yeah (sigh), all I need is a missus and I'll be the happiest man alive
He said with a wish in mind
Meera: why need a missus when I'm around
She got up went behind the couch of where Hamad was sitting. She could see how tired and stressed he was, of course he was since he had double the work she had.
Meera: lean against the couch
He liked how bossy she can be when she wanted him to do something.
Whenever she demanded something from him he would curse beneath his breath knowing it turned him on.
Meera: 'even his back is hot'
She slowly raised her hands and placed them on his shoulders. It was the first time she had physical contact with him other than holding hands. Then, she started to squeeze lightly. It only made hamad's breathing get heavier and heavier with every squeeze.
Meera: better?
Hamad: much
Her hands started to travel close to his neck when Hamad groaned.
He was glad that she was behind him and was unable to see his face. Because if she did, she would see a sex crazed man. On other days he would be fine, but this time it's different. To live with a woman and see her in many different ways made him well ... horny.
After all a man has his needs, and he wasn't getting any since the announcement of his engagement.
It was getting intense but Meera didn't mind any of it, she didn't want to stop. She was touching him in a way she hasn't before and she liked it. Her mind was the only thing stopping her form doing anything else. If it wasn't for that she would be naked and on top of him right this second.
Hamad leaned his head back on the couch and closed his eyes. Meera could see his face, she noticed his eye brows creased. Her hands were slowing down while she looked at him. Hamad opened his eyes but his head stayed where it was. He looked into her eyes and she didn't look away. Her eyes traveled from his eyes down to his nose then to his lips. His red, tempting lips that she wanted to taste really bad.
Her phone rang, it was her personal mobile phone. She walked towards it leaving Hamad lost in what just happened.
Mother callling...
Meera: hello mother
She answered the phone leaving hamad in confusion
Mother: your sister sara called (she got straight to the point) she has been in a car accident
Meera: is she alright? where is she? is she alone? (she said shocked)
Mother: we didn't talk long, she asked for the driver but I'm out right now and I need him
Meera: what do you mean you haven't talked long? didn't you at least ask her if she was fine?
Mother: don't talk to me like that, go and check on your sister
She hung up the phone
Meera: I CANNOT BELIEVE HER!
She screamed while putting her phone down. Even when one of her daughters was in a crisis, she still maintained her cold heart from caring. Meera wondered how she would react if it was any of her sons in this situation instead of her daughter.
Hamad: what's wrong?
He said standing up alarmed that whatever the situation is, it might be serious.
Meera: my sister has been in an accident (she said looking at her phone)
She tried calling her sister but no answer, and the other one was switched off.
Meera: why isnt she picking up!!
Meera was frustrated, not only because her sister had an accident but because she wasn't picking up both of her phones and she wasn't calling anyone else. And Because her mother didn't even care to ask if her daughter was fine.
Hamad: she probably called your brother
Meera: he is out of town, I should not have gotten her the car
Hamad: calm down, I'm sure she is fine
Meera: I would calm down when she picks up her damn phone (she said in anger)
Hamad: text her and let's wait to see if she replies
Hamad remained seated while watching Meera walk around the house pacing. She was never good with waiting around and doing nothing. Two hours have passed since her mother called and nothing, all she found out is that Sara had the accident an hour before their mother called Meera.
It was around 10:00 PM and Meera had no idea where her sister was. She has already left her five missed calls and three messages. Sara was an 18 year old new driver all alone in that car, being in a road at night by herself wasn't safe which is what made Meera panic.
Meera: I'm calling again
She dialed her sister's number for the sixth time when her sister finally picked up and said:
Sara: alo
Meera: WAIN INTII?
Sara: at Mariam's party (she said yelling back, since the loud music made everything impossible to hear)
Meera: what party? didn't you just have an accident? is everything ok?
Sara: listen I've gotta go (she started laughing) Mariam post these photos on instagram
Then she hung up.
Meera: I can't believe this
Hamad: party?
Meera: she is at a party, then she hung up on me, all she thinks about is her social life (she said blabbing on, annoyed at what her sister just told her)
That was when Hamad got the idea, he got his phone out and started typing
Hamad: what is her instagram account?
