Mona’s point of view:
The summer passed quickly and it was time for orientation in university. Before we get into university let me tell you how I spent my summer. Fai9al was on my mind the whole time and I spent all my time trying to avoid him by going to ghada’s house less. After we came back from Singapore I didn’t see him maybe only twice. It felt terrible but what else am I supposed to do. I parked in ghada’s place because all of us need to go to the uni for orientation and the plan was that I would pick them up. I went into the house to find 3amo jameela sitting having breakfast.
Me: esalam 3alaikm
Ghada’s mom: w3alaikm esalam 7abeebti ha jahza 7ag eljam3a
Me: haih
Ghada’s mom: enzain hm foog ana baseer a7een 3mch ahmed yetrayanii bara3
Me: ok ba3asalamah
I decided to go upstairs to check what is taking them so long. I saw ghada just coming out of the shower she wasn’t even dressed yet.
Me: sho ha your not even dressed?
Ghada: whaat its only 6:20 its very early
Me: well you know that I like being early
Ghada: we will be on time don’t worry
Me: la2 mob on time LAZM EARLY
Amna: mona hadii bismillah we will be out the door in no time calm down
Me: thank god that you are dressed ok ill be waiting downstairs
I went downstairs to find 7mood and fai9al having breakfast. Omg Ive avoided this for a reason now it is not working. Act normal mona you can do this.
Me: ohh hey I didn’t see when I came in
7mood: tara we just came in
Fai9al: hala mona sh7alch?
Me: im good u?
Fai9al: el7emdillah
Ok this is getting awkward. Try to start a conversation.
Me: so you are seniors ha
7mood: yep wa2keeran
Fai9al: haha its like this day didn’t wanna come
Me: you will love it enjoy every party there is and don’t skip any just don’t tell your parents that I said that
7mood: don’t worry
Fai9al just laughed, god how much I missed that laugh.
Fai9al’s point of view:
I heard foot steps I thought it would be one of the girls but I didn’t expect it to be her. the moment she saw us she froze. I can tell that she was surprised. I haven’t seen her for a long time. I came to 7mood’s house as much as I can to atleast catch a glimps of her. But she never showed up. I actually think that im going crazy. So I asked her how is she and tried to keep it normal.
Mona: would you excuse me for a second
Fai9al: yh sure
She went beside the stair case and started to shout. She is crazy which I loved about her. what happened to letting go.
Mona: you said you in no time well you took more than that so YALLAH
Amna came rushing downstairs
Amna: bismillah era7maan era7eem ok ok she is coming just grabbing her
things, lets wait for her in the car
Amna’s point of view:
I heard mona screaming her head off so I rushed downstairs to speed up
things.
Amna: ok honey ill talk to you later (I gave him a peck on the cheek)
7mood: ok take care (I left to the car with mona)
Fai9al: honey??
7mood: int’h chub
Fai9a: what ever you say honey lets go before we end up late
7mood: tedrii enk 7ayawaan (he smacked fai9al’s head)
7mood’s point of view:
First day of school was ok. It felt good reconnecting with friends and classmates. Fai9al got along great. He is going to be fine.
Somewhere in the school
…: there he is, isn’t he sexy?
….: he will never be yours
….: we will see about that
….: listen I never doubted your ways but I don’t think he is interested
….: I will make him interested
Ghada’s point of view:
Orientation was good. We got our schedules and everything. I actually made friends and met my classmates. They seemed nice. The day went by quickly. After that we went home to find the house empty. It was early and probably the guys are still at school.
Me: so how was your classes?
Mona: well it was fine
Amna: yeah the people are nice
Me: so any hot guys
Amna: im taken
Me: which doesn’t mean that you didn’t notice any
Mona: well there was this guy but he turned out to be a player
Amna: ohh rly how did you know
Mona: that is because he winked at me then threw his number in my face so yh…
Me: hahhaha really he did that
Mona: yh I tore the paper throw it in the bin right infront of his face
Amna: that’s my girl
Me: well he is a player
7mood: who is a player??
Amna: bimillah you guys just arrived
7mood: yes so??
Me: it’s a guy in mona’s class that flirted with her
Mona: what the hell how about you announce it to everybody in this house, don’t worry I blew him off
Fai9al: ‘that’s my girl’

Me: yaay I haven’t been there for a long time
Amna: yeah I miss that place
Fai9al: yeah sure
Amna: what about mona?
Mona: ill have to ask my mom you know how my parents can be
Me: yeah but promise that you ask when you get home today
Mona: hh ok I promise
Mona’s point of view:
After hanging out in their house I went home. I saw my mom and dad sitting in the living having a very serious discussion. I couldn’t hear what they were saying. The moment I walked to them they stopped talking.

Me: ohh enzain 3adi as2lch shay?
Mama: goolii…
Me: 3adi aseer mzra3at goom ghadoo fil weekend?, adrii ena shway b3eed bs bat9lkm o kil sha-

Baba: haih 9dg
Me: ohh ok shokran wayid
After than I sat for while we chatted a bit then I went upstairs. It was weird because they said yes without me begging them. We actually talked this time without mentioning business crap. I was actually worried. My parents were acting weird. I called ghada to tell her what my parents said. I actually didn’t want to go and face fai9al a whole weekend but what am I supposed to do. I promised ghada. This will be one long weekend.
