Part
45
All
Meera did was bite down on her lip all day, all she had in her head is
the kiss they shared twice.
Sarah:
your extra happy today
Meera: nothing wrong with being in a good mood
Sarah:
so that is what getting laid constantly feels like
What
Sarah said took Meera back. Sarah just laughed leaving her sister alone in
house. Her sister's kids has already left and she was alone, waiting. She was
waiting for Hamad to come back since she missed him and they have only been a
few hours apart. Thinking
about the kiss and everything that happened between them, all the moments they
had and shared her brother Ahmed called disturbing her thoughts
Ahmed
calling...
Meera:
hi
Ahmed:
hey big sis, you free tomorrow?
Meera:
yeah, why?
Ahmed:
I need your help picking out a ring
Meera:
a ring?
Ahmed:
so were on for tomorrow?
Totally
ignoring her last comment
Meera: tomorrow it is
Ahmed:
I'm picking you up
With
that he ended the phone call, he was always the mysterious type that liked to keep
people guessing so she just went with it. While
she placed her phone on the table she laughed at her brother's sudden
announcement. Hamad walked in placing his brief case on the same table.
Hamad:
what's funny?
He
said regarding the smile and the head shake Meera did
Meera:
Ahmed
There
was a moment of silence both their minds jumped to what happened they couldn't
shake it off.
Meera:
did you have dinner yet?
She
said breaking the silence and the tension that came with it
Hamad:
no
He
took a step closer
Meera:
do you want me to make something
Hamad:
no
Taking
another stop
Meera:
I didn't have dinner yet as well
Taking
another step closer without saying a word he held her face in his hands and
kissed her. It was all he has been thinking of doing the entire day. It started
as a peck on the lips but turned into a more passionate kiss. He wanted to
taste her to feel her between his lips. His hands moved from her face to her
back pulling her closer and she moaned wanting more.
Realizing
it was going further than he expected he pulled away slowly taking a steps back
Hamad:
let's go out for dinner
Meera:
like on a date?
Hamad:
why not
That
was her queue to get changed and get ready for their "date". As much
as she wanted all this to happen, it was still a little awkward. They were a
married a couple that was still starting to know each other and what made it
worse is that they sleep next to each other at the end of the night. They would
both have a big problem if the date ended in a good note.
Usually
girls dress good, taking their time picking the perfect dress to impress their
men but in Meera's case she was living with her man. He would witness the whole
process of her getting ready. Walking into the closet, she picked a perfect
little black dress with a matching pair of shoes. Then it was time for the
makeup. Going through all that process, Hamad was not in the bedroom with her.
He was waiting in the living room giving her space to finish getting ready.
Adding
the final touches including three sprays of perfume, she walked towards the
living room, making her heels hit the floor. There she stood looking as good as
she always does but better in front of him.
Meera:
how do I look?
He
had no idea how much courage she gathered to say that sentence out loud.
Hamad
was still seated, he couldn't get his eyes off of her.
Hamad:
If we stay any longer, I don't think I will be able to leave
What
he said made her face flush with redness, making her bite her lower lip and looking
at the floor.
He
got up grabbed her hand and out the door they left.
In
the restaurant..
They
were sitting across from each other both wondering what was on the other's mind. In meera's case it has been a very long time
since she last went on a date. She was probably the only woman her age that did
not go out on dates looking for the perfect man. And she was on a date with her
husband that she barely knows.
Meera:
Ahmed is thinking of proposing
Hamad:
propose?
He
has a shocked look on his face
Meera: I had the same look on my face
He
laughed
Meera:
he wants to go ring shopping tomorrow
Hamad:
you met her haven't' you?
Meera: I did, and she seems like a nice girl,
but it's my mother I'm worried about
Hamad:
right
He
knew exactly what she was talking about. Every one knew how "
difficult" her mother can be.
hamad:
but if he really loves his girl he would push her for this
What
he said was true and meera wondered who her brother was going to choose if it
came down to it
Meera:
enough about me, how was your day
He
started getting into his business talks, conversations he wouldn't have on
normals dates. It was comfortable with her, she understood everything and any
topic that would come up in his mind she would just run with.
Hamad:
so I'm looking into investing in other companies, since yours was a good move
Meera:
glad I could help
Hamad:
cocky are we now
She
just smiled
Hamad:
but there was something I couldn't shake off my head
Meera:
what?
She
asked seeming concerned and curious
Hamad:
you
It
was amazing how he turned a business conversation into a personal one so
quickly. It turned her on quite frankly.
Meera:
it looks like I wasn't the only one
He
grinned to was she said. What did this mean? We're they a normal married couple
now?
