Part 34
Fatima: you still
haven't seen the whole house, come on I'll give you the grand tour
Meera walked behind
her while she showed her around the house. They got to the kitchen and found
their mom mixing the salad. Meera offered to help and Fatima knew better not to
do so
Mom: I'm almost
done, go complete the tour, Fatima why are you showing her the kitchen
Fatima just laughed
knowing her mother really well. She liked doing everything by herself in her
own kitchen and served them when everything was done.
Fatima: our mother
is really sentimental that she kept our rooms the way they were during our high
school years
Meera: it's too
pink (she said laughing)
Fatima: I know
right, what was I thinking
They both laughed
at Fatima's old interior design choices
Fatima: and this is
Hamad's room
The room had wooden
floors and wooden furniture. The bed had blue covers and blankets. There wasn't
anything that stands out like a normal high schooler's bedroom should look like
except for the book shelf filled with books ranging from non-fiction to young
adult fiction novels.
Hamad: so you saw
my bedroom?
He peeked through
the doors and saw both his sister and wife chatting away
Meera: so this is
how you were in high school?
Hamad: how was I?
Meera: geeky
(pointing towards the books)
One of Fatima's
boys started to cry
Fatima: and that is
my queue
Meera walked by his
desk and saw old photos of him in his football uniform with his team members.
Meera: a geek and a
jock
He stood behind her
Hamad: still have
that charming good looks (stroking his chin)
Meera: yes and that
big ego
He laid in the bed
and looked up at the ceiling
Hamad: I missed
this room, so many memories on this bed
Meera: wow
He laughed
Meera: no wonder
why it makes so many noises
She laid next to
him on the bed, it wasn't as big as the one they had at home so they were
pretty close to each other. He was surprised by her actions but it all came
easy to her.
Meera: I wish I
knew back in high school
Hamad: yeah?
He had in hand on
his stomach and the other under his head
Meera: things would
have been different
He turned his head
looking at her
Hamad: you know we
haven't talked about the kiss
Meera: that
Hamad: yeah
There was a moment
of silent the Meera turned her head to see Hamad looking
right at her
Meera: sorry about
that
Hamad: don't be
His eyes shifted to
her lips, her cherry red tempting lips that he wanted to taste so bad
Meera: I don't know
what came over me
He was about to
move forward when his mother called out
Mom: dinner's ready
Hamad's point of
view:
That was close, I
don't know what was I going to do if mother haven't called out for us. Should I
be worried? She looks so beautiful tonight.
...
The ladies decided
to have a girls night out due to the events that happened during the weekend.
Aisha: I'm really
glad to see you happy
Hessa: thank you
(blushing)
Meera: she is
actually blushing believe it or not
Aisha: and you did
not believe in love
Hessa: people
change their minds
Aisha: oh do they
now
Meera: leave her
alone
Hessa: you look
grumpier that usual
Meera remained
quite which gave her away immediately.
Aisha: talk right
now
Meera: what nothing
happened
Hessa: then
definitely something did happen
Meera: it was just
a kiss
Aisha: hamad kissed
you?
Meera: I kissed him
Hessa: you did?
Meera: what it's
not like we had sex
Hessa: well don't worry
no sex for me either
Aisha: why the hell
not, its suppose to be more intense and intimate now, its suppose to be better
than ever
Hessa: we are
waiting
Meera: for what?
Hessa: I don't know, taking things slow I guess, it just that so many things happened, I don't want to mess it up again
