Part 23

While Shaikha went to a family gathering that she wished she could forget fatima headed to the coffee shop to meet up with bader.

Fatima: morning

Bader: hi (he had a smile on)

After 5 minutes the waitress approached them to take their orders

Bader: 2 omelets one with pancakes the other with french toasts

Waitress: for you drinks?

Fatima: ill have black coffee with one sugar but no milk

Bader: same

She collected their menus and went away. 

Fatima: so how is your vacation going?

Bader: its going good, it started excellent (refering to what happened the last night)

It was the first time they met after the kiss they shared. 

Bader: what do you think?

Fatima: think of what? (knowing exactly what he meant)

Bader: the kiss? did you like it?

Boy was he straight forward. All she did was blush what else could she say about it. She did like it but couldn't bring herself to say it. Bader knew that she did like it. He finally got to tell her so what was next?

Fatima: there is thing that my mother is hosting and here is the invitation, you could come if you like

Bader: do you want me there?

Fatima: its formal so you kinda have to dress up

Bader: you didn't answer my question

Fatima: I'd appreciate if you did come, that is if you want to

She finally told him and it was out of her mind but now she was wondering if he would actually show up wearing a tux. It was bader after all he isn't a tux guy. After their breakfast and brief flirting here and there. They both headed their separate ways. 

At 7sain's house...

7sain: hatha ho eli knt tbah?

He handed him a tux with a bow tie hanging on a hanger

Bader: haih mashkoor wallah

7sain: wain sayer fi kil hatha?

Bader: 3zeemat um fatima

7sain remained quite he knew why bader was going. And wasn't to be polite. It was because fatima was going to be there and was going to be dressed up which made it even better.

Bader: dawamt elyoom? (he knew the answer to that)

7sain: badawem bacher, a9lan shaikha mawjooda

Bader hated how 7sain relayed on shaikha for every bit of work.

Bader: 7asoon taraha tesht'3il wayid, 5f 3anha. fatima etgool rawi7at badrii 7ag yam3at bait ahalha

At that time 7sain remembered how much she hated family gatherings. And she hated it more this year due to what happened in London.

Shaikha walked towards her grandparents house with all kinds of cars at the entrance.  She parked and made her way in.

Shaikha: 'here we go'

The place was sure noisy full of men and woman talking while some kids screamed and cried. She went to her grandparents kissed and talked to them for awhile. 

The conversation went like it always did. Work, work and more work... If not then it went to the whole marriage shit. At least if it was about work shaikha could go on for ages elaborating on that. But this time it was alya's wedding and bridal showers and plans. Just when shaikha was about to doze off she got a text

7sain:

911

She immediately grabbed her things said her good byes after saying it was an emergency work thing. 

She rushed to 7sain's house and found him on the pool side with his sunglasses on. 

Shaikha: what is the emergency 7sain?

7sain: did you sign those papers about the new project?

Shaikha: OFCOURSE I DID, was that what you wanted to ask me? you could have called and asked instead of texting 911!!

7sain: you know I like to ask face to face

Shaikha: and I dont, I was at my grandparents house

7sain: tbain etrideen ridii

Shaikha: 'too good to be true'

What else was she going to do. To avoid all that "family time" she decided to chill and stay where she was. It might not be ideal but she needed the time off. Just when she thought 7sain was starting to change he went back to normal. The selfish, arrogant, self centered person she has ever known.
