Nothing Is As It Seems 7

Part 7

It was bright and early when shaikha went out of her apartment and got into her car. Her usual routine starts, just like clockwork. She drove to work with her work pants and high heels. Her channel sunglasses on covering her makeup-ed eyes. First stop was the coffee shop, black coffee one sugar no milk to keep her up and running for the day. There was going to be a meeting held in their building with a possible new sponsor. That is what she hated the most. Because all the plastics come out that time. She had to look nice and talk pretty and nod like a bobble head. All fake. She walked into the building noticing that 7sain’s parking slot was empty. She figured that he was on his way since the meeting was only 2 hours away.

She got seated in her desk revising over the main points that they were going to talk about in a few hours. 30 minutes have passed by and 7sain hasn’t showed up for work. She spotted bader in his kandoora holding a bunch of blue prints of older projects.

Shaikha: esalam 3alaik bader

Bader: wa3alaikm esalam, hala shaikha sh7alch?

Shaikha: eb5air el7emdilla, agool bader wain 7sain?

Bader: shaklh ba3adh fil bait

Shaikha: SHO? El meeting eyibda2 3gb sa3a o n9!

All the other meetings 7sain wasn’t really needed but when it came to representing the company the freaking chairman had to be there! What kind of a meeting would that be when he is not around, what image would it send if he wasn’t there!

She called and called but no answer...

Shaikha: where the hell would he be at?

She rushed to her car pressed on the petrol and drove off to his house which was 10 minutes away. She was calling while driving but no answer. If he was asleep she would kill herself because she made sure that she sent a message late at night telling him to set an early alarm. Since he shows up at work whenever he feels like it.

She slammed the door open and walked up stairs, she hated when she had to rush to his house for something. She wasn’t a stranger in his house anymore. It was a thing that would happen every once in a while when she had to wake him up herself. The stairs led directly to white bed sheet covers crunched up at a side while 7sain laid there in the middle with the pillow over his head.

Shaikha: YOU ARE UNBLEIVABLE! I TOLD YOU TO SET AN ALARM!

7sain:lat9ar5een rasii ey3awernii

Shaikha: I don’t care about your head! No one told you to party late at night drinking with whores when you know you have an important meeting the next morning

7sain: uff (he remained in bed) why did I give you the keys to my house

Shaikha: THIS IS WHY! at least this time there is no girl in your bed!

As she said those words she regretted them immediately because at that moment a woman in her late 30 walked out of the bathroom with her panties and bra and cloths in her hand looking for her shoes.

Shaikha: THIS IS WHY? I told you to wake up 7sain, this is unbelievable, but expected from you, do you even care about this meeting? Or are you just sleeping with every slut you find in the streets?

The woman seemed like a ‘nice’ lady. But at the heat of the moment words started pouring out of her mouth. She was mad, furious even. Was she really mad because it was affecting her professionally or personally?

Woman: watch it?

Shaikha: listen this is not the time for you to defend yourself, and most importantly your look isn’t really helping your defense

She saw the horrified look in the woman’s eye and thought that she might be a little too harsh on her.

Shaikha: I’m sorry it is just a bad morning

The woman left and made her walk of shame down of the streets while 7sain finally decided to get off the bed and into the bathroom. He left on the door slightly open to listen to what shaikha was saying or in this case let’s say yelling.

Shaikha: why do I even bother to yell, its not like it getting into your thick empty
head. It’s like I’m the only one here who cares about work! You now what it is my fault, I should have called instead of text and I should have made sure you have set that alarm

7sain came out with only a towel and went directly to his closet staring at his suits while deciding on which one to put on. Shaikha followed him in just like she always did while giving her lecture

7sain: le7agteenii da5el?

Shaikha: you want to defend your dignity now?

Their relationship has seriously passed the professional level!

7sain: what do you want from me, you clearly said it was your fault, so you should be mad at yourself not at me

Shaikha: your unbelievable

She just stared at him was she too angry to pay attention to his toned body that stood there half naked waiting for her to stare at.

7sain: you like what you see

Shaikha: AHHHHHH

She walked out and grabbed her things then yelled out

Shaikha: I’m living! You better follow me in 5 minutes or you’re dead!

7sain: wait, iron my tie first

She walked out without even listening to what he was saying. She started to have a temper all because of working for him and now she needed anger management sessions.
