PART 14

Mahra got into the apartment and found rashid sitting on the couch watching tv. She took off her shoes and let out a big sigh.

Mahra: your still up

Rashid: mahoor elwakt met25er

Mahra: ma7asaina bl wakt, we were catching up with ghaya

Rashid: ohh enzain, bs latet25rain mara thnaya chi, ana ylast ehnii atrayaach o a7aaateech

With that he got up and went to his room. Mahra felt guilty that she was out all night while he waited for her. She didn’t ask him to wait for her but she still felt guilty. It is true that her parents aren’t there so that doesn’t mean she can take rashid for granted.

Mahra: ‘how sweet, he waited’

Walking back to her room to brush her teeth and prepare for bed she still felt terrible for what she did. For some reason she wanted to apologize. A reason for her to see him. She was doing all that without even noticing it. She slowly knocked on the door and peaked inside the room to see rashid opening his eye lids and stretching.

Mahra: ‘masra3 ma rgad’

Rashid opened his eyes to the scene of mahra right infront of him. It made him a bit worried. He jumped from his place and asked

Rashid: mahoor balaach feech shay

He got up from his place and walked to her looking at her from head to toe to make sure she was alright.

Mahra saw the concerned look on his face and had this smile on her face. She blushed slightly

Mahra: im sorry (she said it in a low voice)

Rashid: sorry?

Mahra: I stayed late, I didn’t know that you were waiting for me, I didn’t ask you to, then you waited and then I woke you up, I scared yo-

Rashid: bismillah kila ha 3ashan etgooleen sorry

Mahra: umm…

Rahisd: allah ya5eth ebleesch at7asab mstiwi feech shay, latzay’3eenii chi mara thanya

Mahra: sorry

Rashid: hahahahahaha (some how he found it funny)

He got back in bed and covered up looking at mahra

Rashid: mafeech ergaad?

Mahra: la2 (she lied)

Rashid: ta3alii

He patted on the space beside on the bed asking her to sit closer to him until she feels sleepy. Mahra sat on his side and covered herself. Her feet touched rashid’s leg

Rashid: ahhhh eryoolch barda

Mahra: sorry im always freezing

Rashid: ta3alii

He got closer to her and they were practically stuck to each other. He placed his right arm on her shoulders sharing body heat with her to keep her warm.

Rashid: tdreen ench dala3a

Mahra: hhhhh, its part of my charm :)

Whenever she had problem sleeping before someone would just sit with her until she fell asleep. it helped her to sleep, and he remembered. They stayed like that until they both fell asleep.

The next day…

Mahra woke with this happy feeling inside of her, she saw that she was on rashid’s chest sleeping peacefully and so was he. She got up and tucked the blanket for him and went out the room to take a shower and get ready for uni. Rashid on the other hand gets ready in a few minutes. After she was done, she went back to rashid’s room and found him still asleep on the bed.

Mahra: rashood yallah warana jam3a

Rashid he just remained asleep, it seemed like he was tired. He moved a bit indicating that he doesn’t want to go.

Mahra: rashood (she placed her hand on his arm and moved a little with her sweet voice calling to him)

Rashood: mahoor 7abeebti wli ey5aleech, 5 degaayeg bas

Mahra froze in her place, ‘7abeebti’ kept ringing in her head. She thought about it for a second but she knew that it didn’t mean anything. He is really tired and must of said it by mistake. He probably doesn’t mean it like that or does he?

Mahra: enzain, im going to make breakfast

mahra's point of view:

7abeebti? what is that suppose to mean? he is probably just tired, what would he say it if he didn't mean it? stop it mahra your making a fuss about something that doesn't even make sense.
